Golden Apple Teacher Award - Ramona Delay , Ringgold Middle School
Ringgold Middle School is proud to announce that teacher Ramona Delay has been selected as the recipient of the prestigious Channel 12 Golden Apple Award. Mrs. Delay was nominated by a former student who said he would not have passed on to the 8th grade without the support provided by Mrs. Delay. Congratulations Mrs. Delay!
Georgia Public Broadcasting recognizes Rachelle Lea
Rachelle Lea, a teacher from Ringgold Middle School, was recognized by Georgia Public Broadcasting for her Greetings at the Door program. Ms. Lea takes time to meet and greet every student and learn about what is going on with each one. She then helps the students in her classes learn about each other and can then support each other through things.
February is CTAE Month
Director Mark Pierce read a proclamation from Dr. Barbara Wall with the GaDOE announcing February as CTAE Month. Director Pierce pointed out that students in CTAE have a 98.2% graduation rate! CTAE Supervisors were present and recognized.
February 23 - 27 Announced as FFA Week
FFA supervisors were also recognized with their students. Director Pierce noted "When students get embedded in FFA they stay and don't leave the program." A second proclamation by Dr. Barbara Wall was signed into law by the 4 FFA Supervisors stating that Feb 23 - 27 is FFA week. Let's celebrate CTAE!
