November 2025 Board Recognitions

Ashley Morgan is an exceptional special education teacher whose dedication, compassion, and commitment to her students have earned her the prestigious Golden Apple Award. Known for her kindness, strong work ethic, and unwavering diligence, Ashley goes above and beyond to ensure every student reaches their fullest potential. She builds meaningful relationships with students, peer teachers, and families alike, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where everyone feels valued and empowered. Through her creativity, patience, and heart for teaching, Ashley continues to make a lasting difference in the lives of those she serves.
David Tindell and Ryan Otting have been recognized for their outstanding dedication to students and their unwavering commitment to building positive relationships inside and outside the classroom. Both educators bring decades of coaching and teaching experience to Barnhardt Academy, where they focus on helping students develop perseverance, teamwork, and personal growth. Their ability to motivate and connect with students has made a lasting impact on the school’s culture and student success.

Graysville Elementary has been awarded the Title I Distinguished School Award!
Graysville Elementary School has been named a 2025 Distinguished School, placing it among the top 5% of Title I Schoolwide and Title I Targeted Assistance schools in Georgia. This recognition is based on the highest combined English Language Arts (ELA) and math content mastery scores from the most recent statewide assessments. Graysville is among just 188 schools statewide to earn this honor.

Cloud Springs Elementary has been named a Title I Rewards School!
Cloud Springs Elementary School has been designated a 2025 Title I Reward School, a distinction reserved for the greatest-improving 5% of Title I schools in Georgia. The recognition is based on two-year gains in ELA and math content mastery scores from statewide assessments. Cloud Springs is one of 138 schools statewide to achieve this recognition.
